I read a post about how the author managed to glitch into the region and peeked inside the building. This is probably the most legitimate/official mystery that Oceanhorn2 has left us. What could they be? Who built them? How did they become dysfunctional? It seems like an explorable area, and it might tell us more about Gen?ĥ) Ancient robot (or creature?) remains outside Pirtaįor some reason, these remains remind me of the skeletons for God Warriors in Nausicaa (any Miyazaki fans here?). There is a roadblock to the right of the last platform. There are three platforms but only two are occupied in the final quest (maybe the last one was supposed to house the red oceanhorn that we are riding?). Only recently did I find out that these closed areas outside the palace are platforms for oceanhorns in the final quest. Roadblock on the right of the grand core main room After I collected the shield, the map showed that a side road from where I got the shield indeed reached very close to this roadblock from behind. This is kinda addressed in the golden edition update.

Hopefully the Big Content Update (BGC) this year can open these areas and connect the dots that are left in the story. 2) Some of them are probably the candidate areas for further content updates. This list might help newer players avoid wasting time as I did. 1) I wasted some unnecessary time attempting these areas before I realized they are not open. I thought it would be interesting to curate a list of unopened areas in the Oceanhorn 2 Golden Edition for two reasons.
